– Featuring Wanderlust Runway

The inspiration behind the spring/summer 2013/14 collection, titled Wanderlust, started when Australian fashion designer, Maria Maung, saw an exhibition by artist Murray Fredericks. Fredericks’ work, Hector, was shot in the Northern Territory and the beautiful landscape became the foundation of the collection, as well as a major part of the runway production.

Bless’ed Are The Meek took a new approach to their SS13/14 collection collaborating with Tourism NT shooting the collection campaign in some of Alice Spring’s most beautiful locations. The collaboration ventured into the area of technology with a QR code sewn in each garment. When consumers scan the QR code they are lead to a microsite within Tourism NT’s website. Here, they are presented with behind-the-scenes footage of the campaign shoot as well as interviews with the creative team.

The collection consisted of tribal prints mixed with sheers, metallics and leather details. The models were styled with sexy stiletto heels, sleek pulled back hairstyles and accentuated eyebrows.
